Did anyone else cancel his subscription to Men’s Health after they put Obama on the November cover?

Written By: admin on February 14, 2010 19 Comments

I canceled my subscription after they place him on the cover. I had subscribed for 10 years to that magazine, and he is the first politician they have ever had on their, and I dislike him more than any politician I have ever seen. I threw that issue in the trash.

I find it really sad that a cover of a magazine could really change your opinion on it. I have some pity for you, but you do represent a majority of your party that can’t keep their hatred to themselves.

    LMFAO how ignorant.

lol! its not surprising that it would make you that mad that you would cancel a magazine which has obviously been informative for you for TEN YEARS because they place a man on it…of course that makes sense right? that man having his own views and opinins enrages you soooo much that the sight of him on your informative magazine made you cancel it. lol! you sound insecure… the reason you question? because only an insecure person could be so threatened. A secure man would not be so touched by a man being on a magazine…lol! you also are immature because you dont know how to remove your rage and despise so you filter it in childish ways by punishing yourself…..you are wise beyond years……I like it!!!

OK, that’s a bit extreme considering it’s a health magazine. probably was an article about African American health issues or something and they just used him to try and sell magazines to men in that category… They’d probably use McCain if it were about senior citizens. No huge deal there regardless of who you plot to vote for.

Yes because I use to buy the magazine for health tips not political rhetoric.

Perhaps you would do better with Psychology Today. You do not seem particularly rational.

    That was a FANTASTIC photo.

So you missed the article where he discussed ‘Nuclear Arms and Terrific Legs’?

  15. dr.dave on: 14 February 2010 at 12:05 pm

Incorrect! President Clinton was also on the cover a few years ago. Both were fantastic covers!

  16. jamesmom2 on: 14 February 2010 at 12:48 pm

yeah, they should have place that pudgy ancient geezer McCain on the cover as the posterboy for ‘men’s health’… that would make a lot of sense to stout white men, anyway

  17. I'm always right. on: 14 February 2010 at 1:23 pm

No but Men’s Health better NEVER EVER place an article about the dangers of smoking when they have a cig. smoker on the cover. To be honest, I have had a subscription for three years and this was the worse edition ever. The Obama cover was very small but nearly every article contributed nothing special. If they keep this substandard of writing up then I will cancel my subscription.

I dont see why his cholesterol is like 172 damn excellent for a black man

  19. trina1969b on: 14 February 2010 at 2:08 pm

I reckon that was sorta childish if you question me. I wouldn’t do it even if they place McCain on the cover and I can’t stand him. I reckon that cancelling was childish in my opinion. Especially if you have been pleased about everything they have done before that! I do find there are many people that are like you and to be honest I can’t know that! I wouldn’t of gone that far but, that is you not me!

Excellent luck on the next subscription!
