Southern California’s KTLA-TV, which first reported on the fracas, wrote, “The 65-year-ancient was apparently aggressive and hit the other man, who then retaliated by biting off his attacker’s pinky.”
The AP reported that the injured man “retrieved the finger and went to a hospital.” A hospital spokesperson told the news service that the man, who had Medicare, “lost half the finger, but doctors reattached it and he was sent home the same night.”
The dude had Medicare?!!!
Really the attacker committed a Felony assault.
The guy who bit his finger off acted in Self-Defense.

I wonder how a private insurer would have handled re-attaching the finger? It would have probably taken 3 days to get pre-approval from the insurer death panel, and because the guy was retired, they would have probably denied the claim.

Well if we had never implemented the medicare system, he would have bought private health care. By implementing medicare we conveyed a incorrect message to people and have made them dependent on it.
He was probably there to protest Obama’s plot to divert medicare funds to the Obama health care plot.
First we make them addicted to our drug and then we threaten to cut supply. Wouldn’t that scare the guy. This socialized system is bogus. We need to get jobs and save for our retirement. To facilitate this bring tax rates down so that we have enough to save.
